The new models of the Cruise 3.0 have been improved to meet the demanding challenges of every day commercial use; making them ready to take on the harshest environmental conditions, for example with dinghies and sailboats up to 3 tons.
This makes the Cruise even more rugged in the event that it runs aground and even better protected against corrosion when used extensively in salt water.

Battery and Range

The Cruise 3.0 T requires an external 48V battery. Torqeedo generally recommends pairing this motor with the Power 48-5000 lithium-ion battery for optimal performance and range. The motor can push displacement hulls and sailboats up to 3 tons smoothly and silently, with runtimes dependent on the hull size and throttle usage
