ePropulsion Navy 3.0 EVO

The ePropulsion Navy 3.0 Evo is a quiet, environmentally friendly and maintenance-free electric motor for boats up to approx. 2.7 t. It replaces the predecessor Navy 3.0 (until 2020) and brings with it the possibility of energy recovery through recuperation. This makes it particularly attractive for sailors.

Please note: In addition to the motor, a suitable battery from the ePropulsion E series and an Evo controller must be selected. If you need help putting together your Evo system, please contact our service.

Recuperation

Thanks to recuperation, sailors can recover energy while sailing. The process starts at a speed of 3 knots. Above 10 knots, the engine goes into protection mode. The battery then continues to be charged, but the charging power remains constant and does not increase any further.

48 volts
A major advantage of the ePropulsion Evo family is the possibility of putting together your own system according to your own wishes and requirements. The ePropulsion Navy Evo models can be operated with the E-Series batteries.

These LiFePO4 batteries are precisely matched to the ePropulsion motors, so that the motor and battery can always deliver optimal performance. We recommend using the Navy 3.0 Evo with an E80 or with two E40 in parallel.

Evo controls
You can connect your Navy 3.0 Evo to a total of four controllers. The subsequent conversion from e.g. tiller to remote control and vice versa is also easy.

All Evo controls offer you:

Digital display that informs you about charge status, range and more
Emergency stop magnetic chip for your safety. Stops the engine in a man overboard situation
Stepless speed control
Drive control adjustability clockwise or counterclockwise
Limiting the output power. For more safety if, for example, children are on board
Instead of an emergency stop magnetic chip, you can also purchase a comfortable Evo safety bracelet. Up to 8 bracelets can be connected to the Navy 3.0 Evo at the same time.

Security bracelets
Instead of the well-known emergency stop magnetic chip, you can also switch to the more comfortable wristbands. The motor then stops immediately as soon as the wristband detects a man-overboard situation. Up to 8 security bracelets can be connected to a Navy 3.0 Evo.
